The Twilight Zone was a television series that ran for five seasons from 1959 to 1964. For those that may not be familiar with the show, I would compare it to a modern-day Black Mirror. One of the most famous episodes is titled "Time Enough at Last" and is described as  "the story of a man who seeks salvation in the rubble of a ruined world". 

The main character, Henry Bemis, is an avid book lover who can’t seem to escape the drudgery of his daily responsibilities in order to spend his time reading.
