Today’s episode is with photographer Rik Nagel. In 2020, during the pandemic, Rik took off and made a pilgrimage around the USA, capturing the frenzy of the times, from hospitals to toilet paper scares to MAGA rallies.

 

But we don’t talk about that at all. Instead, we start with the role of art and the purpose of an artist, and we end up with a deeply personal interrogation of business, self-promotion, and what worth and value really mean.
