How on earth can we fit the continuing of our professional development, in amongst the day to day of a full on mothering?

The only way I know, is to do lots of little, incremental bursts throughout the day to day... it keeps your skills sharp and builds connection with your kids at the same time.

Whilst this can feel hugely insufficient, I think that if we can learn to shift our perspective, we will see how much opportunity there is to grow, right at the heart of our family life.
