On the inaugural episode of the SWACUHO Podcast, we talk to Past President Kent Sampson, who served as the SWACUHO President in 1980 and 1981. Kent reflects on his career, the entirety of which was spent at Oklahoma State University. Kent not only discusses being an internal candidate as he progressed at Oklahoma State, but also talks about trying to determine where the grass was greener when opportunities to leave came about. We then move into his involvement with SWACUHO that led him to the presidency role and the importance of visibility and timing.
