Holiness is way beyond being good, good people are not necessarily holy. A holy person is one who is WHOLE. Who has reconciled its opposites. There has to be a shadow because without the shadow there can’t be substance. There is a big difference between what goes on the outside and what goes on the inside. Just like a piece of embroidery.
