Hello and welcome to this week’s episode of Ireland creates the podcast about Ireland’s storytellers across all artforms.
Today we turn to the world of photography, but before we get into today’s episode I want to thank those of you who have decided to back Ireland Creates. As you know I recently launched the podcast on Patreon the platform that supports creators right around the world share their work. So if you like what you hear and want to keep this show on the road please do go onto www.patreon.com/irelandcreates
One of the things I love about creating this podcast is the community that’s building up around it, from those of you who message me to say you listen each week to the fabulous guests I get to speak with for each episode. I thoroughly enjoy hearing from you so please do feel free to message me through my website www.AislingORourke.com or on Instagram @Aislingmakesstories.
This month I have decided to celebrate female artists as we are in March the month of International women's day and I’m delighted to say that over the month we will hear from visual artists, a performance artist and a musician among others. Traditionally women do not speak as much about their work and so I am focusing on women this month to encourage all women to speak loud and proudly about their creative practice.
And now onto today’s guest a woman who has become known for her distinctive photographic storytelling techniques Clare Lyons.
I hope you enjoyed hearing Clare’s Story I would highly recommend you check out her work.
Thanks for listening and remember to check out www.patreon.com/irelandcreates to support the podcast.
I’ll be back next week with another episode of Ireland creates in the meantime remember to share your story.
