002: Choosing Yourself & Liberation with Weeze Doran
Think showing up in my business boldly and unapologetically has come naturally or simply for me? Nope! I’ve been inspired by other amazing and revolutionary WOC, and one of the biggest influences for me has been Weeze Doran. I’m so excited to have her on the show today, sharing with us the story of her own journey to choose herself and liberation and how it helped her to create a truly revolutionary life and business.
We’re diving into:
- How Weeze became the Weeze she is today and overcame the socializations she grew up with
- Her own decolonization journey
- The importance of self-care and allowing yourself to be human, especially now!
- How her parents influenced her spark towards liberation
- The life changing realization she had as her marriage ended

Weeze has been called many things from coach, podcast host, advocate, agent of change, strategist, and educator (to name a few) and ultimately - she is a compassionate provocateur that is out to uncover your path of possibility. She believes that in order to alter our social reality as a whole, we as people have to shift, and thus she has built a coaching and educating practice with two distinct branches: Anti-racism & decolonization and empowerment & authentic alignment. She believes that by teaching and empowering individuals to walk in their purpose, we can create an equitable, diverse and inclusive society.
