How can Leaders redesign their organizations to be more collaborative, more agile and more innovative? That's the question we're going to tackle today on the Lucrative Leadership Conversations podcast.
Hello, again! This is Susan Hasty, and I'm tuned in, tapped in, and turned on….
Welcome back to another edition of the LLC podcast. For these first few episodes, we are laying the groundwork of the podcast - who we are, what you can expect, and what we plan to accomplish. We see it as an orientation to the show.
Last episode, I discussed how structure is foundational to behaviors and performance in workplace. Mastering our leadership conversations is key to mastering sustainable change.
Today, I'll share the context of our show: The Science, Technology, and Art of Lucrative Leadership Conversations.
"One cannot manage change. One can only be ahead of it…."unless it's seen as the task of the organization to lead change, the organization…will not survive"
-PeterDrucker, "Management Challenges for the 21st Century", 1999
For years, thought-leaders have agreed: An organization's survival and sustainability requires more collaborative, more agile, and more innovative leaders.
Research proves organizations filled with aligned, empowered and collaborative employees substantially outperform organizations with top-down hierarchical structures dependant on authoritative leaders.
It begins with self-awareness — the willingness to look inside, to acknowledge our limitations, uncertainties and fears, and to take responsibility for how our own communications impact others.
I hope you enjoy the show, and I would love to connect with you! Email me at [email protected] or let's have a conversation on LinkedIn!
