This week on How I Make Music, we deconstruct a soundtrack called Iyanetha. It means 'it's raining' in the Xhosa language here in South Africa. It's a slow, sad, nostalgic track with marimba, plucked sounds, electronic beat and shakers. My suggested usage is for travel memories, sentimental and rainy day moments. It's also one of the first ever electronic music tracks I wrote, way back in the early 2000s on Reason 3.0!
