In today's episode, we talk with Joseph Hood, the indie horror author whose debut from 2019 has pushed him to pursue his career as a writer even harder and tackle his second novel which is set to release October 30th of this year. Even if you're not a fan of horror, his writing might still be up your alley. With a plot that is driven by its characters, My Friend Nick feels more on the spectrum of a thriller novel than true horror.

I feel that Joseph's work is certainly worth the attention and you should order My Friend Nick before his second book, Bride of Warren releases next month. He's an author that understands the human experience from each of his character's perspectives, and I am excited to watch his list of titles and talent grow.
