North Carolina announced that on December 1st of 2023, Medicaid Expansion would become a reality for more than 600,000 North Carolinians with access to healthcare services. In celebration with Abby Emanuelson, former Executive Director of Care4Carolina, a coalition of nearly 200 organizations working toward Medicaid Expansion in North Carolina. She shares insights on the coalition’s role in the legislative process, implementation, and enrollment efforts.
