CLARIFICATION. My discussion about splits is geared towards novice lifters. Splits are important, but a lot of noobies focus way too much on which split provides the best progression. Most, if not all the time, they haven’t learned enough about proper lifting for it to really matter! Your body will response to any type of stress when it’s never been applied before. There’s nothing wrong with taking it day by day and listening to your body.
