Hey all,

 

this week I spoke with a friend of mine who is certainly not my brother, Jordan Peacock.

 

We're both in that certain part of life where young children (some of who we helped to make) have become a large part of our day to day lives.  Is there a better way to help kids learn to strategise, think ahead, collaborate and learn how to win or lose than gaming?  

 

If there is, I'm not sure I want to know about it.

 

Anways, this week we talk about what games we play with our young ones and how we use these games to try and teach them about those more important things I mentioned.  We also go into how to tweak rules to make the game more enjoyable for them and how to temper those hurt feelings when that inevitable loss comes around (so far we don't have to talk about how to cope when your child beats you at chess, but maybe next time).
