Advice for Creatives in the local church

1. Enjoy what you do

Mixing has less to do with the mechanical mixing but everything to do with creating the mix of being around people.

2. Be nice

You can have a great set of ears and mix well, but you are going to go alot farther if you quit being a jerk!

3. Don't be the smartest person in the room

4. Be the same kind of inspiration to others that someone was to you

5. How good and pleasant it is when brethren dwell together in unity.

        It's no fun being around constantly intense people!

The key for any ministry is to BE CONSISTENT

        • Communication

        • Imagery

Find out who you are and be content with that.

As a person and as a church

        Be effective with what you have.

Message to churches:  STOP SPENDING MONEY ON STUFF YOU DON'T NEED!

It's not the gear that makes you relevant...

It's not the HD Screen that brings men to repentence!

Worship Leader - Audio/Media Tech Communication

1. Take a personality profile for the members on your team

2. What is their "love language"?  Words of affirmation, acts of service, etc..

3. Learn to communicate without a wish list

Tech Teams

1. Keep your area clean

2. Keep a good inventory

3. You can find alot more grace and favor if you take care of what you are entrusted to.
