Massimo Alberti of REVIVO BioSystems joins us today to share about their founding journey. Massimo came to Singapore as an early career researcher, saw the potential in the project he was working on and decided to spin out a company instead of staying in the research lab.

REVIVO, a spin out from the Singapore Institute for Manufacturing Technology and the Institute of Medical Biology specialized in 4D Human Skin models, built upon a microfluidics and measurement platform. This enabling technology allows ex vivo and in vitro testing of chemicals, ingredients, cosmetic formulations and therapeutics. One exciting application is skin testing with the goal to replace animal testing.
