003 | Who's Around You - Energy Vampires or True Friends?

This episode is about having people around you that raise your vibe and NOT having ones that don’t.

IF you choose to move on from a relationship that's no longer serving you, here are the steps to letting go.  💚

Steps to letting go:

  1. First, you must make sure that you’re truly ready to move on from the friendship.  Make a thorough assessment of your energetic status when you think about the person, being with them, and how you come away with interaction with them.
  • Next, if you decide it is indeed time to cut the cords, you need to do so gracefully.  Try not to let anger or frustration rule your actions, and be gentle with yourself.  Don’t do anything harsh or write people off completely.  This isn’t about burning the ships, it’s just about taking a cruise by yourself. 
  • The true reason we want to move on from relationships that no longer vibe in sync with our lives is because we are constantly trying to be in alignment energetically.  If the things or people around you aren’t an energetic match, then you’ll feel negative responses to the misalignment.  So, the best thing you can do when you’re moving past a relationship is something for yourself to feel good.  Get a massage, go for a walk in nature, treat yourself with the pleasure of something that puts you in alignment as a reminder to set the decision you’ve made for yourself. 
  • Lastly, your relationship that you’re moving beyond doesn’t need to be informed of your decision. Most likely if you’re moving on it’s because they don’t get you anyway, so why would you expect them to get you when you tell them they’re not a friend you want in your life anymore?  The point here is to be sparing about your verbal communication with the person in question.
