Jessica Melnik is an 11th grader in the Minnetonka, MN area, and she is the founder of Girls United MN. The mission of Girls United MN is to come together to empower the next generation of leaders. As a self-proclaimed feminist, she started her organization after an inspiring teacher introduced her and a few other students to more modern sexism issues. 

Jessica believes that if everyone acted on their passions, our world would be a lot better. I couldn't agree more. She loves going for walks, hanging out with friends and family, and she works at an assisted living facility.
