Evi Goldfield is a Program Director with the National Science Foundation. She has led an impressive career, getting her PHD later in life and continuing to feed that thirst for more knowledge through the years. She continued to tackle new fruitful roles in her later years and then, when most are deciding to retire, she joined the National Science Foundation and has spent the past 12 years helping scientists advance research in a variety of ways. It is inspirational to think of the level of impact this one woman has had on science over the years.
