Among the reasons that conducting a Job Search on Job Posting sites is so frustrating are:
Job Boards are in the business to sell advertising to companies and make a profit for their investors.
Applicant Tracking Systems screen out candidates whose resume and application don’t match the keywords in the job posting.
A general lack of understanding about the roles each participant in a job search plays can cripple the chances of a successful outcome. The Job Seeker, Career Counselor, Recruiter, Human Resources and Hiring Manager all have distinct responsibilities.
