#005 Goals from Behind the DJ Table

This episode I'm joined by DJ Mondo Nexus aka Jordan Duesenberg and his tale of starting his journey into the world of DJ-ing.

Jordan breaks down how his passion sparked and how his goal of bringing the music he loves to center stage.  

Along with this tale of the deck, Jordan brings these helpful tips in case you also have a passion that others might find hard:

  1. If you are a perfectionist, don't plan to far ahead otherwise you'll miss one of the biggest steps to reaching your goal, which is just starting.
  2. Open yourself up for making mistakes.  It isn't easy but mistakes are meant to help you grow not to tear you down.
  3. Finding your people doesn't happen right off the bat. 
  4. When going for your goal understand there WILL be times that you just want to give up.  When you acknowledge that you will be better prepared to fight those thoughts and feelings cause it is ONLY YOU who can truly overcome those emotions. 
  5. When you develop yourself, it will also help develop your passion.
