The Bible is not a random bunch of words thrown together. Rather, each passage of the Bible has structure to it. A perfect example is the book of Proverbs - Hebrew poetry. If you understand how Hebrew poetry is structured - in this book's case, synonymous parallelism - then it's easier for us to understand what a particular passage in Proverbs is communicating.
