Jamiel Laurence is a dancer, a choreographer and a filmmaker who can't stop moving. This year he's been 'moving heaven and earth' to help dancers stay as dancers through online classes, finding funding for new works under the #fundfreelancedance scheme and putting dance on film where it can still reach audiences who cannot see it live. Awareness is always at the forefront of his thinking.
