Quick recap: Karla described herself as an “accidental glass artist” because over 20 prior to our conversation a good friend of hers asked her to “stand in” for her at a beginning fusing class which eventually led her to become a glass artist.

She had a particular passion for Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) imagery as well making custom and very unique pet memorials.
