Sue Bowles is a speaker, author, and a survivor of rape and sexual abuse. This part of her story begins when she was raped by a classmate at 7 years of age. She went for 15 years without anyone knowing about this trauma in her past.

While keeping this secret to herself, she struggled with self-worth, anger, alcohol, eating disorders, and more. It wasn't until she shared this with someone her senior year of college that she began her journey to healing.
