Derek is a genuine person known as a  "neighborhood hope dealer" and a person that lives a life that demands an explanation. As he recently made a few big changes in his life, we had the opportunity to sit down and discuss business life, leaving Aptera, starting a new venture, what it means to be a "Disrupter", and his path from alcoholism to sobriety. Derek is a man with heavy influence in the world of business, but at his core he just wants to be a good dad and excellent husband.
