Today I’m interviewing Don Self. If you’ve been following NPBO for a while, you may be aware of an webinar I did with Don this past summer. In that webinar, a lot of eyes were opened as to the amount of money clinicians are leaving on the table because they are unclear of what they can bill for. In this interview, we’ll touch on that a bit more, but the focus today is on Telehealth, and appropriate coding to get paid for your services.

Don Self is a certified coder and consultant. He’s been teaching and consulting with clinicians, coders and others for the past 35 years and is a wealth of knowledge that he readily shares with us.

I want you to pay attention here. One of the things you’ll hear him say is “Right now, even with Covid, if you are in primary care, you should be making more money now than you were making prior to covid just by a little education”.
