Ezekiel: Prophecies of Destruction and Hope — Part 6: False Hope & Hardened Hearts
Based on Ezekiel chapters 12–14
The exiles were tired of hearing warnings. Ezekiel kept saying Jerusalem would fall—but other voices promised peace, safety, and good news. Those were much easier words to believe.
In this episode, Ezekiel acts out another sign of coming exile, exposes the danger of false prophets, and shows that the real problem was not only deceptive leaders, but hearts that wanted comforting lies more than truth. God warns that false hope cannot stand when judgment comes.
Kids will learn that not every confident voice speaks truth, that idolatry can live in the heart, and that real peace comes not from ignoring danger, but from turning back to the Lord.
