Linda's upbringing in Kenya comprised of a fairly intense level of parental intervention; a direct contrast to her life now in Vancouver. Despite being raised in a household with strict values and an intense work ethic, Linda fully acknowledges her need for a level of flexibility in life. Having graduated from the University of British Columbia, it now further means that Linda's parents have one less aspect of her life under their close management. While finding her way around her twenties, Linda wants to take this opportunity to explore a lot more of what life has to offer. This means living with fewer restrictions than before, but still maintaining who she is at her core. Most importantly, Linda not only seeks to further her career professionally but impact the world around her while she does so.
