He spends 6 months of the year traveling the world working his way through his own bucket list which has included climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, smoking Cuban cigars in Cuba, attending the Burning Man festival and sharing his ideas on the TEDx stage in his talk he titled “Life’s way too short not to live your Bucket List”. What’s even more impressive has been Trav’s ability to turn his passion into a thriving global business. As the Bucket List Guy, he helps, coaches and mentors others in their quest to design their own life and live the bucket list lifestyle. Trav is a true entrepreneur but the road has been far from smooth.
Prior to his work as The Bucket List Guy, he was a personal trainer who turned the 63 one hour training sessions he was facilitating personally each week into firstly his own studio, before franchising his operation and growing his business to 21 locations around Australia.
To the outside world, he had it all. He was young, fit and at the helm of a growing business. On the inside, however, Trav’s life had begun to change, he was unhappy and eventually found himself at Beyond Blue. Trav learned he was battling depression.
We discuss how he turned his life around, the transition from his bricks and mortar fitness business to that of a digital nomad, living minimally, becoming The Bucket List Guy, inspiring others to play a bigger game and his plans for growing his business.
