---
In Kyiv, Ukraine, the night was bleak,
As the Kremlin's forces came to wreak
Havoc and destruction, chaos and pain,
Leaving behind a tragic stain.
The air defenses had to act fast,
As 35 Iranian-made drones were cast
Towards the city, with deadly intent,
But Ukraine's defense was not bent.
The drones were shot down, one by one,
Until the mission was finally done.
Kyiv was safe, but the cost was high,
As four civilians lost their lives and cried.
The world looked on in disbelief,
As the Kremlin's forces caused so much grief,
In a land that's known for its beauty and pride,
Where its people live on the brighter side.
But Ukraine will not back down,
Against the forces that seek to drown
Its dreams, its hopes, and its liberty,
For its people will always be free.
The night may be dark, but the dawn will come,
And Ukraine will rise again, overcome
The challenges that it faces each day,
With courage, strength, and the will to stay.
So let us stand with Kyiv in this fight,
For justice, freedom, and human rights,
And let us pray for the fallen four,
Whose lives were taken too soon, for sure.
In Kyiv, Ukraine, the night was dark,
But hope still shines, like a bright spark
That will light the path towards a new day,
Where peace and love will always sway.
