Maurice J. Sapp, known professionally as Mr. GL, is the content manager and celebrity host for Hip Hop Weekly Magazine. He is also The Brand Manager and designer for his brother, Marshawn Lynch’s, clothing brand, BeastMode Sportswear. 

Growing up in Oakland Ca. Maurice was determined to achieve success outside of the street life that he grew up observing. He became the first in his family to graduate from college and began his career in marketing. After successfully climbing the corporate ladder GL decided to pursue more entrepreneurial opportunities. 

He created a brand called Good Look and was given the persona of Mr. GL by his peers. GL would go on to create an entertainment go to resource, curating events across the country, building fashion & beauty brands, and brand consulting.
