The coronavirus crisis has disrupted the usual way of working for people. And this disruption has been evidently more pronounced in the education sector. So how much of our schools and institutions have been affected by the crisis? Is this a pain that seeks comfort? Or an opportunity that awaits its shining moment? Our guest today shares with us some sketches of the emerging landscape. Dr. Ferdinand Pitagan is the Dean of the School of Education (SOTE) at the National Teachers College (NTC). Dr. Pitagan is also a consultant at UNESCO, leading the team of experts in the design of the framework, strategy, training and budget of the Open Educational Resources – Universal Design for Learning Policy for Higher Educational Institutions in the Philippines Project. He has been actively involved in research, consultancy on educational policy and advocacy in improving the quality of education in the Philippines.
