Juan Ortiz is a jazz pianist and composer from Bilbao, Spain, who I met while working on Celebrity Cruises. He has performed and traveled all over the world from jazz festivals in Spain, to cruise ships in the US, to teaching at a conservatory in Nepal, and he currently resides in Hiroshima, Japan. We talk about his experience working on a cruise ship, living and teaching in Kathmandu, how he learned jazz in Spain, what the music scene is like in Japan, and much more.
