Jim & Lolo or Lolo & Jim....either way, this is how they are known. Few are those who know their last name or one without the other.
I met Jim and Lolo when I moved to Sarasota in 2005. They were my first friends and massage clients. I was always delighted when they came to their home on Longboat Key, visiting from Kansas. Jim always tipped me with a stack of new music.
I love their story. They began their life in England, albeit, Jim is American, and Lolo is Swedish. Jim was in college, and Lolo was a waitress. They set off on a career path as farriers at Lolo's suggestion. Together 24/7 and a total partnership....professing to there being no romance. Hardly!
Join us! In this episode, we basically share a bottle of wine over the internet and catch up on not seeing each other for three years. You will likely not listen to the entire show, as it's two and a half hours long. The meat of the story is pretty much in the first 30 minutes, though, with tidbits and references back to "romance" here and there for the remainder of the recording.
You will notice I've not edited this podcast, nor included a proper introduction, as I've not, yet, learned to cut out the parts I don't want to send to Richard, my editor. I am determined to learn how to do this. Until then......I am going to keep on keeping on until I get this podcast thing sorted out. I'm finished attempting to make things perfect first and then putting them out there.
I know you will love this story. You'll have a good laugh, and you will definitely gain terrific insight into how to make a relationship last for thirty-eight years.
Enjoy the show....and remember, "Healing happens when you're horizontal!"TM
