As Candace Hayden was approaching her 50th birthday she founds herself divorced. All her friends of 21 years fell away with the marriage, her son was away at school, and she was alone. Within the same year, her mother passed away. For as long as she could remember, Candace had been a wife, mother, and daughter - who was Candace now? This began a journey of pushing into discomfort, trying new things, and 'doing it scared.' From taking her first solo vacation to salsa dance meet-ups and triathlons Candace found herself and great friends along the way.
