This episode features Lacie McArdle, she is a graduate student at The University of Colorado, Boulder with an interest in aphasia and medically based cases. Lacie gives keen insight into the graduate application process and walks us through how she got to where she is today – including how her interests have been shaped in the diagnostic room! She also opens up about how she didn’t feel like she fit the “typical” graduate student mold but how those experiences have uniquely shaped her. We wrap up the episode by getting into a great discussion about community college and how wonderful it is because of the increased support offered.
