Episode 8 is a story about sales tactics and my most effective closing question.
The story is about the time I took my rookie team member into an after-sale client meeting without properly discussing ahead of time strategy, their role, my role and who says what, (who stays quiet).
My inexperienced team member took it upon themselves to "ask" for the order prematurely with a command statement instead of the question style I use that retains the client's perception of choice.
Result: We lost the client forever.
I then analyse why the question format is more effective to ask for the order than a "should" statement (that isn't even a question) and the difference between an open and closed question.
