Hello everyone, today's guest on the ScienDist podcast is Dr. Nezar Al Hebshi.
Dr. Nezar is a dentist; he graduated from the University of Science and Technology in Yemen in 1999 and got his Ph.D. from Bergen University in Norway in 2005. He is now the Co-director of the Oral Microbiome Research Laboratory; and an associate professor at Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry in Pennsylvania.
In today's episode, he will share with us information about the exciting research he is doing and some of the challenges he faced during the different stages of his career. As a faculty member, he shares valuable information about what is expected of Ph.D. students and postdocs when they apply for positions and the things that could increase their chances of being accepted into these postgraduate programs.
