008 - Ezekiel Part 8 - The King Above All Nations

Listen Later

When Jerusalem fell, everything felt lost.

The city was gone. The temple was destroyed. God’s people were in exile.

And a dangerous question began to grow in their hearts:

Was Babylon stronger than Yahweh?

In this episode, Ezekiel lifts our eyes beyond Judah… and shows us something bigger.

God is not just the God of one nation.

He is the King over all nations.

Through powerful images and warnings, Ezekiel reveals that the surrounding nations—who mocked, attacked, and took advantage of Judah’s fall—will not escape justice.

We visit:

  • Tyre, a wealthy trading empire that trusted in its riches
  • Egypt, a mighty power that trusted in its strength
  • And the nations that believed they could act without consequence

They all seemed unstoppable.

But Ezekiel reminds us:

Wealth is not a god.

Power is not a savior.

And no nation stands above the Most High.

This episode helps kids (and parents) understand a big truth:

Even when the world looks out of control… it isn’t.

God sees.

God rules.

And God will judge every nation with justice.

What kids will learn:

  • God is King over the whole world—not just one place
  • God sees pride, injustice, and cruelty
  • Money and power cannot save
  • Every ruler answers to the Most High

Perfect for:

  • Car rides and family listening
  • Teaching kids ages 8–14 big Bible truths in a clear, engaging way
  • Helping children understand how God works in a world that can feel confusing
