Über 80 % der Deutschen finden Organspende prinzipiell super, die aktuelle Spendenbereitschaft hinkt im internationalen Vergleich allerdings ganz schön hinterher: Nur knapp 44 % besitzen überhaupt einen Organspendeausweis. Das hat fatale Folgen für die Patient*innen, die auf eine Organspende als letzte Behandlungsoption und teilweise auch Lebensrettung angewiesen sind.
