Today I was “assigned” a job I never applied for: lecture Black America. An older white man told me Iron Father should focus on scolding Black fathers. I don’t take marching orders—especially from people who: 1.) ignore the mess in their own house 2.) do not even know me and 3.) I didn't ask them their opinion on the Iron Father business plan. Here’s my position, clearly: two things can be true at the same time. Systemic forces shape lives. Personal choices matter. I speak to both—and I do it from within my community and my lane, not as anybody’s token, mascot, or hired moral cop. If you want a one-sided rant, this isn’t that.
