Organizers from across the US called in to report plans to hold letter drops and meetings in local congressional offices. National staff explained the content of the letter this month, visits and letter drops on Capitol Hill, as well as the phone call efforts into offices to support letter drops and the challenges posed by redistricting and lack of bills in the new 113th Congress so far. Also on the agenda: new role for Issue Teams identifying bills to support and drafting language for future letters.
