Diversity Goes to Work

01 Amandeep Sidhu - Faith, Turbans, and 9/11

Listen Later

Today on the very first episode of “Diversity Goes To Work,” host Phil Wagner welcomes William & Mary alum Amandeep Sidhu. Amandeep is an Equity  Partner at Winston and Strawn, focusing on regulatory and compliance counseling, state and federal government investigations and complex civil litigation involving regulated industries. He’s a Co-founder of the Sikh Coalition, the largest civil and human rights nonprofit organization in the United States dedicated to protecting interests of the Sikh community. Amandeep speaks with us about the origin of the Sikh faith, growing up in America as a Sikh, breaking barriers as a turban wearing professional, and how life dramatically changed after 9/11.
