Dave Leedahl serves as lead pastor at Northview Church in Fargo, ND. Prior to that, he was the Director of Pharmacy at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. When Dave stepped into his new role, you could say, he "left normal behind." The reality is, Dave and his wife, Alissa, left normal behind a long time ago, choosing to live a life of purpose in meaning regardless of their season and job title.  Here are a couple of takeaways from this episode:

• Leaving normal behind doesn't always require a big action - it typically requires several small actions that build into an abnormal life for Jesus over time.
• Leaving normal behind means being willing to give up the comforts, expectations, successes, and opportunities that everyone else is enjoying.
• The people we surround ourselves contributes to the level of purpose and mission we will live our lives with.
