One piece hooked me from the first episode and I found myself watching 25-30 episodes on my first day and caught up in a month and a 1/2. There were always points that I didn't think it would be able to surpass but the series always proved me wrong. It has one of the best power systems something a lot of anime struggle with, good fights, unique quirky art, and character that made me stay away from the show but the more I watch it the more I fall in love with it.
One Piece (stylized as ONE PIECE) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation that premiered on Fuji TV in October 1999. It is based on Eiichiro Oda's manga series of the same name. The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew of pirates, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as "One Piece" in order to become the next Pirate King.
