In the inaugural episode of Fully Vetted, hosts Mia Cunningham and David Frash sit down with OVMA President Dr. Ellen Yoakam to discuss African swine fever (ASF). Although it has not yet been detected in the United States, the possibility of its appearance has become a hot topic of conversation in the veterinary community. Dr. Yoakam explains the ramifications of the disease, as well as what is currently being done at a state and federal level to help mitigate the risk of ASF spreading.
