Dan shares 4 of his key discoveries (through working with his Personal Trainer, Rodney Corn) that created the transformation into a fitness role model and athlete with longevity:

  1. Stress is both mental and physical. In physical activity, "more is better," needs to be balanced with recovery science in order to find health and fitness.
  2. Functional training along the myofascial lines, particularly when it comes to self myofascial release and weight lifting program design, is a key in decreasing joint injuries and repetitive strains.
  3. Goal setting is not only for career progress, but also for progress in health, quality of time, longevity, ability to play, and how we can serve as healthy role models for our kids.
  4. Anything is possible if you set a goal, set a plan rooted in science, and listen to the team you build to support you.
