Underdog Leadership Podcast

01. What's with the Fish? Introduction to Chavender

Listen Later

Welcome to the very first episode of the Underdog Leadership Podcast! I am your host, Jenny Mitchell and I am very excited to be representing the underdogs among us through this podcast.

Underdog leaders lead with compassion. They know what it's like to overcome big obstacles to succeed. They are ready to move from #2 to #1 in life and work. And they have a burning desire to contribute to making the world a better place…for all of us. This is a new space for me to share my experiences, challenges and learnings as a CEO, executive coach and professional fundraiser, all within the realm of learning to be an underdog leader.

In this episode, I wanted to take it back a step. Who is this Jenny lady and why should I care about what she has to say about leadership? Here, I share my story of Young Jenny and how she quickly became a hurdle jumper and a conformer. Also, how my fundraising journey started and where it is going. My voice may sound familiar because I'm Sylvia's co-host on the "Your Next Fifty Podcast".

Join me as I share my AHA moments and lead with meaningful conversations. Tune in, subscribe and share!

"It's the people that always drive the most powerful kind of change." - Jenny Mitchell
