Having healthy boundaries is one of the hardest things for empathetic souls to successfully manage. We tend to put the needs of others ahead of our own, to the point where we don't even feel like it's okay to have any needs of our own. When people with domineering personalities take over us to the point of even denying our lived subjective experience, and/or what objectively happened in our lives, it's really easy for empaths to start seriously self-doubting.
Though the very word 'boundary' itself can conjure up an image of a thorny gate locking a person into a cage (that may well be full of fear), we can change the way we see boundaries by first better understanding what they are. From there onwards, everything in our lives as empaths can transform for the better, as we honor our gifts and benefit from them ourselves, to deepen our capacity for empathy towards others.
Learn in this podcast on empath protection about what boundaries actually are, how you can have 'fragrant' boundaries that can be expressed in a loving way, and how boundaries can be your saving grace on your spiritual growth journey as an empath.
