    • Making shooting more fun:

    • John S. from York, PA -  My one friend has kids who regularly go to the range with him.   They came up with the idea of making targets as a family that they could enjoy.   They went to Wal-mart and bought some large ice cube trays and put a drop of food coloring in each of the trays.   Then they filled them up with water and laid a string across them and ensured the string went thru each tray.   When frozen, they simply pulled the string and had a 2ft long string of colored ice to shoot at.   Nothing to clean up at the range (except the string).   They just brought along a cooler to keep them frozen until ready to shoot them.   He said it worked great and the kids truly enjoyed shooting something other than paper targets.....and when hit, the ice would 'explode'.
